Ukulele lessons? We get asked, so here’s what we found. Pre-pandemic, they were offered at the cultural center at the Hilton hotel (about 15-20 minutes from us), and the Ukulele store at the Queens shops (same, about 15-20 minutes from us) Not sure of the current status because of the pandemic, although the hotel is open but the gym and the spa at the hotel are still closed.

For something to do, and possibly a desire to hike a little bit, get in your rental car, search from your computer before coming (waterfalls on Hawaii big island), or put water falls in your phone map and see where it takes you. I don’t have a lot of personal photos, but there are many waterfalls to see. There are several easily viewed right off the Queens highway, and there are several that require a little bit more of a drive up by sugar farms. ... Enjoy!
