At the end of March, Central Pacific Bank and the Central Pacific Bank Foundation launched #KeepHawaiiCooking to support local restaurants during economic hards...hip caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The CPB Foundation committed to reimbursing 50 percent of the cost of takeout or delivery meals purchased from participating local restaurants up to $100,000 total. In just three days, Keep Hawaii Cooking became a viral phenomenon on Hawaii social media, exceeding all expectations, and easily reached its $100,000 goal. Learn more at www.keephawaiicooking.com on how the initiative has grown beyond supporting local businesses to now also showing gratitude to Hawaii's frontline workers with the recent launch of Mahalo Meals. Tune in online next Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 p.m. as we'll be joined by Kim Haruki, Community & Market Development Manager at Central Pacific Bank to explore how #KeepHawaiiCooking was cooked up during an unprecedented time where marketers were, and still are, trying to creatively offer real-world help to their customers and the community. This Zoom webinar is free and open to the public, registration is required. Register at https://us02web.zoom.us//register/WN_hlJF_qRESCCFEYsyr7V0ng.
