A surprise engagement captured while hiking on my day off along the Napali Coast to Hanakapia’i Falls. This was not a paid gig and all these images where captured without them knowing. As I hiked up to the caves above the falls to take a landscape photo, I watched a man follow his girl in the water and I started playing a story in my mind of them swimming behind the falls to pronounce their love and pop the question. It was like watching a movie unfold before my eyes. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. The universe has a funny way of letting you know you are on the right path. They where beyond stoked to have this captured and it was a true blessing and affirmation for me. Love is the answer to all questions.
