Students have began to study the paa type of lashing that is essential to keeping all of the hale (traditional Hawaiian meeting house) posts together and tig...ht so our hale is stable! The teacher/staff member winner of our final PTSA drawing is Karen Hunt. Congratulations, Karen, and mahalo for joining the PTSA! (Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a photo of Karen but if I can get one in the future, I'll be sure to post it.) Karen's goodie bag included a hand cream, a home fragrance reed diffuser kit, a face shield, a reusable shopping bag and a nail care kit.
