Please please if you folks are not doing anything tomorrow please come out and support our next generation to come. The event is from 8-2pm. Aloha , the Ka'ala Inters are planning a work day for everyone in the community who is interested. We will be helping to clean up the farm and you guys will be able to learn more mo'olelo about Ka'ala and places in the community. Lunch will also be provided but we suggest that you guys bring a hydration device. Aloha! Kaala Farm is currently recruiting students for the Kaala Aloha ina Leadership Academy (K.A.A.L.A.). K.A.A.L.A. is a High school internship program offered to 9th and 10th graders residing in the Waianae Coast. The focus of the internship is to reintroduce the Waianae moku to the youth of Waianae to their beloved moku through moolelo, and through hands on hana (work) and fun, while also promoting the perpetuation of traditional skills in the family setting. Stu...dents who join the program also earn a stipend.
