Pacific Marines conducts its first ever F-35B flights to support advanced base operations on narrow, shortened runways at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, California. Tactics that utilize short field landing and takeoffs ensure that the Marine Corps is able to operate in any location, even those that have been damaged from combat or regions that simply do not possess the infrastructure to build and maintain traditional airfields. Marines with 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing continue to make strides in training to ensure they remain part of the most lethal naval force in the world, able to operate in any place, even locations that have been degraded by adversaries in an attempt to deny U.S. forces access. #Lethality #FightTonight

U.S. Pacific Air Forces Airmen assigned to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam and Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz have partnered with the U.S. Department of State to bring #COVID19 relief to the Indo-Pacific over the last two months. Andersen is an ideal location due to its central location in the #IndoPacom region and proximity to Eastern and South Eastern Asia. In addition to supporting fighter jets for Dynamic Force Employment, bombers for a Bomber Task Force deployment rotations, and humanitarian missions, Andersen’s Service Members are capable of supporting a vast array of operations. AAFB continues to support global operations, host multi-national exercises and cultivate regional partnerships despite COVID-19. #Readiness #FreeandOpenIndoPacific
