Updates on projects we are doing in Texas for the time being. Prepping the ground for the spring meadow and getting seeds down so we have a nice place for our pollinators. Thank to Wildseed Farms for their expertise and the ability to get native Texas flowed and pollinator mixes. I hope you enjoy!
Prepping my Texas location with wildflower seeds from Wildseed Farms a mixture of Texas / Oklahoma native flowers and the pollinator mix and of course the state flower of Texas, the Bluebonnet!! I have my hive in place and ready to go for some bees come spring.
While life has brought me back to Texas, I look forward to continuing my work with the bees... it is my hope to continue to bring you fine Hawaiian honey with our connections on the islands as well as expand our operation to the mainland with Huey’s Bees and Seeds! Stay tuned...
The torch of the official honey wagon of mine has been transferred to Candie. I’m wishing her great success with her bee keeping endeavors. Hopefully we can get a link to what she has going on posted up. Meanwhile, it is my hope to work with her and other bee keepers on the island and returning regularly to keep doing what I started a little more than 5 years ago. At least in some capacity. I will continue to share updates on this page with some additional projects I’ll be doing on the mainland.
A very cool bee store in Flagstaff, AZ. Assortment of bee wax candles and honey tasting!
