For this #WarriorWednesday, our spotlight is on Sgt. Ashley S. Shrieves, a 2111 Small Arms Repairer/Technician and Armory Chief for Headquarters and Service Battalion (HQSVCBN), U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Shrieves, a native of Wichita, Kansas, enlisted in the Marine Corps on September 21, 2015. Throughout her time in the Marine Corps, Shrieves was highly encouraged by her superiors to become a Victim’s Advocate. In December 2020, she was appointed as a Victim Advocat...e for HQSVCBN. I became a Victim’s Advocate because I thought that it was something out of my comfort zone, said Shrieves. I enjoy helping others and it would bring me satisfaction in helping them achieve comfort.
