Good news for Ironman fans!

Amazingly beautiful sunset in Kona last night, we're calling it Sunset Hector, lol, after the Hurricane that wasn't an issue to Hawaii after all, thank goodness With Volcano' s activity vastly reduced, back to sunny clear skies and minimal vog...great time to come visit Big island! Who needs a vacation?? Who wants to be spoiled at Honu Kai again? Come on over

Aloha to all of you who are concerned about us with the current eruption in the Puna area, we thank you for the love! We are fine, all ok in Kona. Earthquakes aren't really felt on this side. We are being repeatedly asked about being able to house people and their pets, and would if we weren't full with guests. It's a problem that might not have a fast solution, Madam Pele's actions and timing are totally unpredictable! Hopefully the flow will shift direction and go back to the ocean where it doesn't threaten homes and lives. Mahalo!
