HGEA 14.12.2021

During National Library Week, we recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers. Throughout the state, we have more than 500 HGEA members who work at 51 branches on six islands, in our neighborhood libraries, school libraries and correctional facility libraries. Thank you for your commitment and dedication! Libraries throughout the state have reopened in a safe and healthy manner, with temporary hours in place for providing services. Fun fact: The Hawaii State Public Library System is the only statewide public library system in the United States. : 1) Library Assistant Lolita Quibol and Librarian Christine Madayag, Waipahu Public Library 2) Librarian Megan Fukumoto, Pearl City Public Library 3) Library Technician Lisa Komatsu-Liu, Pearl City Public Library #NationalLibraryWeek #HGEAStrong #WeAreHGEA
