First ice bath in months and it was like riding a bike

Aloha Friday, friends!

Happy 8th birthday to my darling little manifestor Felix. He knows exactly who he is, what he wants, and he rarely takes no for an answer. He’s sweet, mischievous, fearless, has a killer sense of humor, gives the best monkey hugs and loves his brother more than anyone on the planet. He’s full of surprises, keeps me on my toes and reminds me so much of myself sometimes it’s scary. He can’t live without kombucha, lemon water, his silk eye mask and nightly facial massage. And I can’t imagine life without him. I love and cherish you, honey. May your 8th year be your most adventurous yet!

I had an interesting conversation the other day with my 6/2 Sacral Generator friend. She also has a Scorpio North Node and also describes herself as intense and deep feeling. She wanted to know the difference between our Strategies of RESPONDING as a Generator and WAITING FOR THE INVITATION as a Projector. Especially in terms of relating to others. The way I see it is this: Yes, as Generators and Projectors we are both waiting for something to respond to- we’re not designed... to just go out and initiate like the Manifestor, nor do we need to wait a full lunar cycle like the Reflector. The difference lies in our approach to what we are responding to and how our auras interact with others. The Generator aura is friendly and enveloping. It’s like a big energetic hug. There’s really nothing threatening about it- it feels warm and fuzzy. The Projector aura is laser-focused and piercing. It goes right into the heart and soul of the other in order to get ALL the info because that’s what we’re designed to do. We are designed to see the other. Sounds sexy, right? Well, it most certainly is when we are first seen, recognized and invited in. But if we go in (aurically) without first getting that invitation, our aura can be overwhelming, threatening, intense AF and even off-putting. As Projectors we don’t do this on purpose, it’s just a natural part of our mechanics. Perfect example: Months ago I was hanging in my kitchen with another Projector friend. I was juicing and tending to my kids- completely distracted and really not paying attention to him at all. Suddenly he goes, Whoa, Fauzia. I can feel you see right through me. I do this to people all the time (lol), but I’ve never experienced it done to me before. This was crazy to me because I was not focused on him at all, yet he felt my aura so strongly. Just goes to show the power of the Projector aura and that understanding how others experience us is wonderfully helpful in forging healthy and aligned relationships. This goes for all types!
