Another association between a serious health condition and gum disease... pancreatic cancer is particularly deadly even with early detection. Here’s another reason to make sure gum disease is well controlled. Soon I’ll be able to test clients DNA to see if someone is more susceptible to inflammatory conditions like gum disease and offer targeted supplementation to help the body control it.

One of my mentors shared this post with me. Thanks Kaye! Don’t know how many billions are spent in cancer treatment, this post is a good reminder we all create cancer cells. But what makes them get out of control and give us cancer? Live a healthy lifestyle and get some DNA testing to find out where we might have some genetic susceptibility and then specifically work those weak areas.

We don’t know if gum disease is a causative factor for Alzheimer’s but the article suggests there may be a strong link. Basically don’t ignore your gum health... it can do more to you than give you bad breath or make you lose some teeth!
