Mahalo for those who attended our webinar today with Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) in honor of #HISAM2021! Congratulations to Molly who was our Ta’ape trivia winner and won an ‘Ai Pono Charcuterie Board! For those who are still interested in getting a taste of the invasives, these are available for purchase until the end of February at @deandeluca_ritzcarlton and includes smoked Ta’ape dip from @localiahawaii, @mauinuivenison, boar chicharrones, @sweetlandfarmhawaii goat cheese, papaya chutney, pickled mustard seeds, @ponoporkhi prosciutto, cured ahi bloodline, @ulumanahawaii chips, and fruits.
No plans for the family tomorrow? Be sure to tune into Hawaii Contemporary Art Summit's virtual cooking demonstration with chefs Mark Noguchi and Dean & DeLuca’s Kevin Carvalho who will be turning the invasive species, taape, into a tasty dish that you can make or order through Dean & DeLuca’s website. As we enter into the last week of February and #HISAM2021, we want to remind everyone that it’s not too late to place an order for the ‘Ai Pono Charcuterie Boards available at @deandeluca_ritzcarlton until the end of the month! By choosing local and sustainable ingredients such as taape & venison (included in the board), we can bring back abundance to our natural resources while supporting local farmers, hunters, and fishermen.
