A Presidential extension has been signed to extend the National Guard supporting the State's COVID-19 response and keep them on Title 32 status. This extension ...means that the great work that Hawaii National Guard has been doing can continue through mid-August, if necessary. While being federally funded under Title 32, the extension enables Hawaii to use the additional resources to meet the missions like airport medical screening, supporting law enforcement checkpoints and conducting swab tests in our communities.
